History & Background (About us):
Capital Lasers has been established for over 21 years and started out life purely in laser cutting & laser welding. Since then we have diversified and now offer a complete fabrication service, including sheet metal-work, folding, bending, and welding. In addition, we can offer finishing/plating/powder coating; also, design and reverse engineering.
We have recently invested in the latest SigmaNest integrated software system so we can process your drawing whether it is just from a hand line sketch, or from virtually any CAD & Graphic file, including dxf interchange format.
The two current directors have been involved in engineering for many years throughout their working life (sometimes too many years); one of them has spent his time in welding & fabrication in a wide range of industries while the other has been involved in special purpose machinery, and surface finishing - so a diverse background.
When subcontracting and entrusting your work out to us you are assured that you will be getting use of the latest technology and equipment without having to make that huge capital investment yourself. We offer you the opportunity to buy in cost effective piece parts or complete finished fabricated assemblies (the choice is yours) on a "just-in-time basis", easing cash flow and enabling you to free up your machinery and workforce. For prototype work we give you the opportunity to develop a new product without investing in expensive tooling, in the knowledge that amendments can be done easily by a programme change.
